Centre stone a 4mm sapphire, and to each side an old brilliant cut white diamond 4mm diameter (0. 25 carats each) colour G i, clarity VS. At each end a round sapphire 3. 4mm diameter. Sapphires are cornflower blue in colour, probably from Burma. Head measures 17x5mm, depth 3. 7mm. Ring weight 3. 1grams. Shank stamped 750 tests as 18 carat gold. Period assumed
