A Victorian 9 carat gold ruby and pearl bar broochA pretty bar brooch containing a rub y centre stone 3mm diameter, with piqu work around the edge in the centre piece. Each end of the brooch has a small vertical line of four tiny seed pearls. Width 40mm, height 15mm, weight 3. 3grams. Hallmarks for Birmingham 1899. Overall condition at the front is excellent. The pin on the rear has been resoldered using lead solder . This has not affected the look of the brooch and the pin is secure and safe.
