Amarillo Triana DressThis yellow, beige, and brown marbled slip on dress is handpainted with mineral pigments on recycled banana stem yarn from Madhya Pradesh. The fabric has a subtle lusture making it a vegan alternative to silk. The pigment combinations are poured in a local fresh water pond and the fabrics are dip dyed in it to get the marbled prints. Each fabric is a one of a kind design each and even though the color schemes repeat, two fabrics cannot be same ever.
